Lets see all the cool 66-67 b-body mopar pictures.!!

I'd be awful tempted to maybe hose it off (maybe) and run it as is.
It's been sitting since 1970 9500 Original miles.
the Hemi was locked up. I have the engine out and disassembled and at the machine shop getting ready for rebuild.

Drove it to work this morning.

You forgot to say....HEMI.

Yep.

You're the first to notice that, or at least to comment.

Sounds like the car must be well sorted out. Still doing a lot of sorting on mine - new wiring harness leads to a lot of disassembly and one thing leads to another while I’m at it.

Thanks.

The car has surprised me since purchase. Previous owner put a grand total of 800 miles on it in 16 years. And I was a little worried for a while about where and how far I took it from the the house. But Ive now put close to 4000 miles since Oct. I would not be afraid to take it across country right now.......just with a high limit gas card along for the ride . It likes gas.
And I dont care.

I have no real intention to ever take the car apart ,,,at least not to any great amount or length of time.
Although with the engine being at near 11.5 to 1 creates its own issues I want to correct / lower in the next year or 2
Otherwise I'm just slowly upgrading / correcting some smaller details..
I do plan to pull the column and fix a lower seal issue. As the column gets pretty warm from engine compartment heat . Then pull the interior and install some sound / heat barrier insulation.

AZ summers gets pretty warm inside on daytime drives

Plan at the moment is take it to Las Vegas in Sept for the MATS show. Haven't fully committed either way to drive it or trailer it up . Gonna depend on ambient temperatures I think before I decide one way or the other

I cannot wait to out miles on mine. I am putting it together to drive and enjoy. I really like your car, the black on red is beautiful. Years ago I found an original owner 70 cuda 440+6 shaker car, black with red interior. One of the prettiest cars I've ever seen. It was low miles and all original. Been sitting in this guy's garage forever. He wouldn't come off it unfortunately, but I didn't blame him one bit. Owning your dream car just can't be replaced with money.

Finally going back together after nearly 30 years in storage. Originally an SS1 paint code. Went with KK1 Light Turquoise. So much more to do but hopefully will get it running late this summer. Not much of a garage in which to work. Doing my best to get it back on the road. Anxious to hear the mildly stroked 318 Poly run.

This is my 67 440 last year when I picked it up, took it apart over the winter and it is currently undergoing a complete restoration. The car had sat for many years in a field but it was in not bad shape, this one will be saved and when done will be just as new. Love these old B Bodies and seeing all the pics for inspiration... might go with the original hh1 paint with a black vinyl roof and interior or lately I am liking FF1 light mettalic green, not sure yet.
