Has anyone uses the QA1 lower control arms with a sway bar and stock k member?

If so, how did you set it up?

I was about to pull the trigger on a set of QA1 LCAs when I noticed that they advise that they will fit on 68-72 b bodies with out the factory saw bar.

"Part #52308 is a direct fit for 1970-72 B-body and 1970-74 E-body. Will work on 1966-69 B-body with QA1 K-member and sway bar, and 1962-72 B-body without sway bar."

That's a nice setup. What different brand parts are you running on your front end

Thank you. A little bit of this, and a little bit of that....

Hotchkiss upper control arms
2" drop spindles
QA1 LCA
QUA1 struts
Bilstein shocks
Moog joints, ends, pittman, and idler
Borgeson steering box
PST tie-rod sleeves
Hellwig swaybar
Wilwood 6-piston brakes

Hey MMISSLE, the picture links in your posts are no longer working. Could you post again? I'd love to see the set up you describe. I'm trying to figure out if I want to go with these QA1 LCAs and it sounds like yes, but i just need to get a different sway bar. (I have a 69 charger). Which Hellwig sway bar do you have that works with these LCAs? And did you need to do anything special to mount on your stock K member?

Thanks !!

If I remember correctly the QA1 control arms require the ‘70 and up style of sway bar, which goes through the K frame instead of in front of it. Shouldn’t be an issue though to mount one, have to drill a few holes for the mounting brackets.

Awesome thanks very much. The guy at summit said the 71 style bar will bolt on to both my k member and the new tube arms. I'll confirm that next week when i have all the parts!!

Hey Just to update this, The bar never came. it was Back-ordered, and so I just have the LCA's with no sway bar. 1.03 PST springs, handles GREAT. Looking forward to see how much better when I figure out a sway bar solution!

Hi Wolf Tickets. Did you get your sway bar on with this setup? I am dealing with the same problem with QA1 LCA’s on a 69 but the original 69 k member won’t allow a 70 style to slide through. Let me if you have an update. Thanks
