Hello, anyone running a powerglide with 2.25" tti hemi headers? 1964 polara 500, 477ci aluminum 10-71 blower stage v stock exhaust port direct fit ati super case PG

900 to 1000 ftlb by 3500rpm max of 6000. Biggest thing is im staying with the braced strange axled ladder bar 8.75 with 3.73 or so gears moser center section. He said 1k hp no prob with glide and not hitting trans brake. Max of 15" wide section tires. Like to stay with street mickeys.

Oh and a 727 wad over $10k less converter, usless low gear and cant leave in 2nd with trans brake. Only need brake b cause disabled right leg to stage.

Geez surely Cope or A&A can build a flite for less than that and lock out first .. I know it can be done..

Not much less. Mine was one step below A&A's top build and it was $7800. Upgraded input and out shafts, billet internals, rollerized. It gets expensive real fast.

I would think it would have more clearance with the p/g as it is physically smaller.I have a p/g in my 63 Belvedere but I run Headman Huster headers no problems.

My buddy's running ttis and p/g in his 64.
My question is.. have you thought about driveshaft?
