2022 NHRA 'Silly Season' is starting early

Announcement today on nhra.com that Tony Schumacher will return to Top Fuel and run the full 2022 NHRA season. His Crew Chief will be Todd Okuhara, currently the Crew Chief for Leah Pruett.

to get him back in a T/F car

wonder where Leah is going ?
other than marrying Tony Stewart,
maybe they will start a different (what class?) team of their own

I read Antron Brown was going to be a T/F team owner
next year too, DSR/Don Schumacher was grooming him to be

someone needs to hire Tommy Johnson Jr. too
he needs a ride in F/C

There was no mention of Leah going anywhere. Could be it's just a matter of Tony getting his pick of Crew Chiefs.

I'm surprised that Hagaen is leaving. Maybe he's getting a piece of ownership? Although, he said he'll just be a driver. I'd like to see Tommy Johnson Jr get that DSR ride.

That may well depend on if the Mopar money follows Hagan to TSR or stays at DSR.
