I know our "Pick 'Em" game is only for the Professional classes, but you may want to keep an eye on Top Alcohol Dragster at the Las Vegas Nationals next weekend.
There's going to be a competitor driving for the very first time in a National event. Tony Stewart will be in the #314 TAD. This should be interesting to see how he does in both qualifying and eliminations.
There are 21 TADs entered so he doesn't have qualifying guaranteed.
I'll be very surprised if he doesn't get some TV coverage.

Q1 - Tony Stewart is currently #2 with a run of 5.219 @ 276.52 following a .075 reaction time. Not bad for the first time out.

Congrats to both 'Back in Time' (FABO) and 'cuda20' (FABO) for their PERFECT PICKS! Both of them earned 32.0 qualifying bonus points for the NHRA Nevada Nationals. They each picked the #1 qualifiers in all four professional classes: Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle.

Congratulations to game leader 'Nick2317' (FBBO) for winning the "Top Picker Eliminator" title for the 2022 NHRA Nevada Nationals with an outstanding total of 211.5 points. He picked the class winners in Top Fuel, Funny Car and Pro Stock, and shis Pro Stock Motorcycle pick went to the final round of eliminations before losing. His point total was also helped with both ET and Speed bonus points in Top Fuel, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle.
'Back in Time' (FABO) and 'cuda20' (FABO) shared the runner-up spot with 207.0 points each.

This will also be the final race at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, CA.
Starting with the 2023 Lucas Oil Winternationals the track will be known as In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.
As always, your picks need to be posted before the first of four (4) Pro Qualifying sessions starts at 3:00pm EST (12:00noon PST) on Friday, November 11.

It's raining here in SoCal today with the snow level possibly down to 4,000 feet and rain is also forecast for tomorrow. We may have that picturesque snow-covered San Gabriel mountains backdrop we usually see for the Winternationals.
The weather forecast for the Finals is sunny all three days with a high of 67F on Friday, 69F on Saturday and 70F on Sunday. Should make for both a quick and fast track.
I'll be there for Friday qualifying getting my final "nitro fix" of 2022.
