Are these guys serious? They want $50 to ship two small panels and a tach? $30 just for the tach? I'm actually having a laugh at this. Ordered directly from Legendary and bypassing this company. I'll keep looking for a tach elsewhere.

Who? What? Where??? Yes, I'm getting sick of this stuff too!

If only EVERYTHING was available from Amazon ... with free NEXT DAY shipping including weekends !!!

If you only knew that you had nothing to complain about Todd.... my small order from Doc Diff was $166US for shipping and then yesterday I get another little GEM from Fedex for $106 on top ! $32 for our Government for taxes and the rest for them for brokerage. I also know damn well I have another similar bill coming from Fedex as Doc Diff sent my stuff in two separate shipments! One was only a $30 brake line set and I'm probably gonna get nailed for $85 from Fedex on that one!

Wow the shipping you guys have to pay is crazy.. It might be cheaper in the long run to move to the US lol.

If only everyone would get on board, like Jegs, and collect the import taxes at point of sale. Then it goes Fedex right to my door without the $60 to $80 raping for brokerage from Fedex.

The shipping for a Brewers 4 spd conversion to Australia was $2,500 AUD ($1,840). Needless to say I'm sticking with the 727 for now...

Shipping has probably doubled in the last 2 years, maybe more than doubled. Mainland shipping is bad enough. International shipping is unbelievable.

Paid $30 for shipping for 2 cans of engine paint from Mancini last year

I won’t use CI for this reason. East coast shipping is nuts. I’ve tries to give them business but it never works out due to the astronomical shipping.

Yeah I have a love/hate with classic..... I just ordered a few items with them, a tad over $200
Shipping to VA was $35 but I used a coupon code that took $32 off....so basically free shipping, I'll take it!

If American retailers would ship USPS it would be considerably less expensive for "foreigners". While the actual shipping costs are similar to FedEx or UPS, there are no brokerage fees with the postal system. And quite often they don't charge the tax either.

Maybe even more. I shipped a air cleaner from Nevada to Maine. USPS cost was $86. I never ship large items unless the buyer is willing to pay the cost.
I try when buying,to find companies that offer free shipping with a minimum order, usually $100.
But you have to watch as they change that offer without notice. Companies such as Jegs or Summit sell resto parts (that come from other vendors).
They still honor the over $100 deal. Just punch in what you are working on and see what comes up.
For years I was faithful to Year One until there shipping went way up. Heck even Rock Auto has shipping that costs more than the part you are buying.

The high shipping costs might entice vendors to start showing up at swap meets again !!

I dred waiting to see how destroyed my package is going to be when I see it's been shipped usps, and good luck trying to get reimbursed for damage

Used to be hassle free when I started selling and buying stuff on ebay 20 years ago. The past several years the shipping/mailing costs have made this a PIA plus the time packing it up. Basically it is ending up selling the chit for just the cost of shipping it or at a loss sometimes after ebay fees. More of my stuff gets trashed, taken to the recyclers, or to goodwill. Been waiting now 6 weeks for a part for my Dakota that might be on a cargo ship somewhere off the CA coast. It’s a BITCH.
