Hello everyone. Please call me Scooter67! I had the privilege of "stealing" my brothers 67 charger project from him! The car is totally stripped down to metal shell. I have most parts but not all. I've wanted this generation charger my whole middle aged life!
I have a mid seventies 440 block and heads I'm gonna throw in. Stock setup.
Any advice and help is appreciated since this is my first ground up resto. please keep in mind I am on a limited budget and this will not win any trophies when completed. The target here is to put back together on a blue collar budget, run, stop , and cruise! Thanks guys....

Welcome from southern Illinois you better prepare yourself because here it comes!:xscuseless:

Welcome aboard Scooter! Posting pictures makes you lots of friends here quite quickly!

Welcome and good to hear! It's amazing how many of these limited premium cars are resurfacing and being worked on. I'll agree with the needing pics . :canada:

Welcome from Alabama, keep your eyes on the classified ads for good used parts. Nothing is cheap anymore, but your project is doable.

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario. Good luck on your dream restoration project. There is a 1966-1967 Charger forum here as well.

"Virgin Mopar Owner"
I'd suggest getting laid first then go work on the car

Welcome, I'll call you Scooter67... you noted: "Any advice and help is appreciated since this is my first ground up resto. please keep in mind I am on a limited budget and this will not win any trophies when completed. Well, scoots, that's exactly what it's all about, whether you've been playin' with these cars for half a century like me, or just starting the fun... and I emphasize the word "fun"... have as much of that as you can ! This place has an awesome knowledge base, I can't tell you how often I have an idea that's already been posted by someone. You come to the right spot here !

You'll lose that "Virgin" status as soon as you try to fix the 1st oil pan leak. Welcome aboard and good luck.
