And that means?
I believe they sold rust / bondo buckets to unsuspecting customers at those huge prices and got caught. Google HPLG and read all the comments.
I got ya- looks like they changed names to “True Muscle Cars”. You could beat the subject of buyer be ware and inspections and on and on.— but I don’t know how someone could spend big money and not go see the car for themselves without some education and research into what to look for. Oh well.
Is that the outfit in Chicago?I believe they sold rust / bondo buckets to unsuspecting customers at those huge prices and got caught. Google HPLG and read all the comments.
I’ve been watching these cars for the past 3 years….prices are insane….I’ll agree….junk going between $20,000…$30,000…..and I mean junk….then the next stage is the car is complete not too bad of shape…$40,000…$50,000…. and the prices just skyrocket from there…resto mods are ridiculous….just keep looking….you may get lucky….Have been looking for a 69 charger too restore. Man can't believe the price for what is nothing much of a car. No motor or trans. Car is in rough shape also for even 15 grand. One I see is black and found it on Craigslist. That car is in so many states and same car listed for 15 thou. Others are even in 20 thou. range and not in any better shape. NO motor's or trans mission. Interiors are trash. Just restored a 69 runner and bought it for 7 thou. Would say it was in not so good of shape but it had a motor and all under hood and drive train. So am I just looking in the wrong place. Would like to find a good one to work on.

Mini tubbed with Magnums and a red tail stripe. It was pretty! I think a gal bought it. Good for her!Black on black base model '69. 383 727 just sold at Mecum for $57k. Looked very nice shape. Today's junk on the sale sites are WAY over estimated.
