My brother brought me a fan to put on my roadrunner. He pulled it off his car when he sold it around 1999. I’m wondering if it is a direct connection piece. It’s stamped with the Chrysler pentastar and the part number 46237. It’s been hanging in the barn for over 20 years and is showing some rust spots but cleaned up decent with steel wool and wd40.

Looks like the paint was ground off and it was polished up.

IMO...consider either glass bead blasting or walnut shell media blasting to clean up. Chrome plated...not sure or why plate it at all....it was originally flat black. Perhaps you may get better results with a thermal drive fan clutch and specific fan OR a torque drive fan clutch and specific fan. I believe the Hemi engine used an ALUMINUM 7 blade fan and a torque drive fan clutch. The Hemi fan used an airfoil shaped blade with a higher pitch angle for greater air flow at a lower operating RPM..... just talking out loud.....

I’m going to leave it as is. I think it’s pretty cool. My car is not perfect or anywhere near original.
