69 gtx..all my headlights work and all my turn signals work except back right ..the brake light and turn signal isn't working. It's not the bulb or ground .The gree wire doesn't have any power which is the turn signal wire what is next step

Turn signal switch. The brake lights run thru the switch. Usually the problem.

I had a bad bulb socket and it was in a new rear wiring harness. You could trace back to the harness plug connection and check for power there. If it's there, then there could be a poor connection from there to the light. You say ground is good (I had another issue after installing new gaskets on the tail lights and after painting - ended up putting in another ground wire for that light.

Verify that there is no power on that wire at the steering column plug. No power bad switch. Power broken wire between that plug and the rear bulb.

I have power to to back right tail light but none to brake and turn signal. Checked up front by kick panel no power there going to back right only back left. What's the easiest way to test turn signal switch. The front right turn works if that matters

Probably a separate issue but horn wants to stay on I had to disconnect wire...maybe related short in turn signal switch. Plus my fuse blew so maybe that's the issue?

No power in the column for the horn. That's a ground circuit.

So a hot wire is touching inside column causing this. I had column out if car may have rubbed some wire coating off. Think that is my issue with brake and turn signal is as well

No. The horn circuit is completed by a ground. The horn wire if it was grounded it would activate the horn relay. It would not cause a fuse to blow. Seeing you had the column out make sure you did not pinch the harness between the column and the dash mounting area.

Ok the was working fine yesterday and when I went down the road today it just went off and stayed on until I pulled the cover and disconnected it. What do you think it did that for. As far as tail lights maybe just bad turn signal switch

You need to diagnose both problems. Check the wires that you touched with the column being out. If no problems found start with what I told you above on fixing the turnsignal/brake light issue.

As mentioned, break this down into three problems.
1. Horn - when the horn contact ring, or the black wire going to it, touches ground, the horn goes off. Loose horn button? Bent horn contact ring? Pinched/stripped insulation on the black wire?
2. Brake Light - power at bulb? turn signal switch "big plug" at bottom of column? Is that particular wire connected well? (sometimes you need to push the male/female butt connectors together on just a wire or two from the back side on both male & female ends. An ice pick is crude, but works...or a teeny tiny screwdriver.
3. Turn Signal - same thing, different circuit

And check the grounds again....maybe put in a temporary ground wire on the socket

The turn signal and brake light are on the same circuit/wire.

My question is what caused these things to happen ? Were you working on/in the column?

Had column out several times. Once while installing new hydraulic clutch and once for rebuilding steering coupler.

Ok like I said back left side all is good everything works. Back right just tail light has power no power to black that operates brake and turn signal

Black is the horn ground circuit. You originally said the green did not have power. You need a manual.

I messed up the green wire does have power but it goes to left tail light..the right has a black and a brown wire..I have painless wiring kit in car. Black has power on back right for tail light but the brown which is for the brake and turn does not..going to check connect by column
