I saved all the critical pieces of carpet during disassembly for templates -- like saving and bagging and tagging bolts/screws etc. The most difficult pieces are the carpets that glue to the rear passenger side panels. The tips of them go under the sill plate. Dodge also sewed Velcro into the bottom edges to hold the side carpet down to the floor carpet.

Are you making them, or getting them made? Can't imagine that color will be easy to find. I like to use original where possible, hard to get the vinyl edging replicated nicely.
Good post.

Good post.

I bought an ACC carpet kit (23 pieces). The color match for the Dark Olive Green was great. However, I didn't like the color vinyl they used so I ordered a different color. We replaced all the ACC vinyl and stitched in the new vinyl using the old carpet for templates.

Hay Maxrat,
When you bought your carpet did you add the mass backing or stick with the standard and add insulation yourself or ?

Sorry this took so long. I didn't get mass backing. It interferes with the rear carpet insulation. I added insulation myself.
