New look

It's the ongoing
As best I recall from school, we drew pictures on the wall in the stone age. Society is reverting back there with computer symbols, road signs, and many other things to communicate with the the less educated.

NOT A FAN OF WHAT IS CALLED A NEW LOOK! i THINKS ME IS DONE WITH THIS FORUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RUFFCUT
Hang on a minute dang it - you're a needed asset to this site IMO.
Oh no the big dreaded red x is gone.
Here ya go:

Glad to be of service. :)

There are probably issues that occur behind the scenes that the rank and file members never see or know of.
I don't know much about computers but I do know that everything needs periodic maintenance.
I see they increased the font size. That is good. Somehow my "reaction score" jumped by 2100 overnight. I thought at 75,000 that I was going to get a free toaster.

EDIT....Now it is back down to where it was before....
My "dislikes" haven't been right since the get-go, so I asked for correction - which happened later on.
New "correction" = 100 (It's actually close to 25)....but hey, beats over 8,000 as originally shown. :)

I don't like the new look. I must be getting old. I have an attitude of "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

Politically Correct Handshake? I smell Google

And now people have to "React" with "Reactions"?

I am quite sure there were solid reasons behind the upgrade, and I don't see why any of us should be complaining about it.

If the site needed upgrades, or will run better with them, then that is how it is.
Looks like I am one of the first few members to be bestowed a red DISAGREE here with the new software.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Simply put.....if you don't like the site....nobody is holding a gun to your head to make you stay here.

I've worked on CAD computer programs for
close to 50 years. Autocad, Unigraphics,
Catia, Solidworks, Wildfire, Ideas, Pro-E...
Every single one (when upgraded) have
quirks and format changes that require
a relearning process. Though it may be
uncomfortable after any change, repetition
is key for any change in format. Soon
enough you'll get use to it, and will find
the next upgrade uncomfortable as well.
Hard to believe....I've over 100,000 hrs
of CAD experience. I take the upgrades
as they come.

And most of the complainers get this all for free. That's pretty bold.

Way too busy, small font. Meddling.

what gets me is when I am on the phone it takes me to 2014 and I have to go through hundreds of pages to get back to "now"

It's all good!! I'm like a duck, born in a new world everyday, anyway. My problems all shook out and now it's onward. As far as a new look, thanks for noticing, I did trim up my sideburns, I think it makes me look younger. Now, a little boot polish in my hair and 18 here I come................. and wood like a table leg.................... See, nothings changed.

Its fine, kinda like driving a new car. It still drives and goes down the road.
You just have to learn were all the buttons and switches are.
Couple days later you don't miss the old one.:steering::steering:
