I need a pair of brackets for my non-sway bar Charger. Is this a good deal? Is there a better option?

Unless I've got the wrong part, they're not much like the factory pieces at all. Here's a factory sway bar bracket -

How is the Hotchkis bracket supposed to go on? There's no way one of those sides is going to bend around the top of the LCA. Is this even the right part?

The earlier sway bars are "wider" and mount out by the shock absorber.
I think your brackets are for the later bar which mount further in on the lower arm.

What year is your car? 70 up are behind the strut rod on the side of the arm.

JR, you bought 70-72 B-body, E-body, and 73-76 A-body brackets.

If your have a 72 Charger, you have the right part.

You need to ask for measurements from end and top so you know where to weld it.

Have you got a pic of the top of those arms? It looks like there's another part on the other side, which I haven't seen before. But I believe you and steve340 are correct - I have a 72 LCA and the reference pic I posted must be from a pre-70 car.

So who knows what the placement measurements are? It looks like the bracket should be flush with the top of the LCA, and just about butt up against one of those "buttons." I imagine the end link has some wiggle room in it and the placement doesn't have to be 1000% perfect. Afterall the LCAs are going to be bouncing up and down and jittering around with the road surface.

If anyone has a picture of a correctly placed Hotckis bracket, feel free to post it.

I do not think anyone will have measurements for you.
Better for you to do a mock assembly and tack weld them in the right place.

Probably I'm overthinking this. Going by T2R9's pic, the top of the sway bar bracket looks to line up with that ridge on the LCA. It looks like it's centered between a bolt head on one side and the raised area where the torsion bar adjusters go. I doubt if it matters if the bracket is off a mm or 2 in any direction.

The links need to line up pretty well with the ends of the sway bar and be parallel for the bar to work properly.
When I mount one set the suspension at ride height, set the bar flat and centred, drop a plumb bob from the centre of the sway bar eyes. This will show you were the tabs need to be.
The better the job of locating the bar and brackets is done the more effective it will be.
