Can someone give me the part number for a big block stant 180 degree superstat?
Just a brand name I know and have used the most but probably as equal choices out there as well.I don't know but i just bought an Edelbrock 180 degree thermostat for mine, i think it's this one:

that’s why i’m looking for a superstat they are not standard flowJust keep in mind the edelbrock has more flow. You might want or not want that.
All i can say is the original mopar thermostat looks more like the edelbrock unit than the gates replacement i also bought.

That 45478 looks exactly like the one I have I guess it could be a superstat. In looking at the descriptions between 45478 and 45358 is the latter states it has a V notch to allow air to escape. Does the ones you posted have that notch?
