Can someone give me the part number for a big block stant 180 degree superstat?

Odd, I can't seem to find a SuperStat number for our big blocks....
Factory number is 2808631 for the 180 (although I think our engines came with a 190??)

Yep I haven’t been able to track one down.

I think these thermostats are pretty standard. You should be able to pick one up almost anywhere. I think I got mine from O'Reilly's, but I'm not sure of the brand.

On my car there is a factory sticker saying to use a 180°F Thermostat only.
Its 1969 Dodge Charger R/T with 440/727, A/C and 26" Radiator.

Just keep in mind the edelbrock has more flow. You might want or not want that.
All i can say is the original mopar thermostat looks more like the edelbrock unit than the gates replacement i also bought.
that’s why i’m looking for a superstat they are not standard flow

I think the edelbrock thermostat will be fine but i can't guarantee until i recieved my new radiator, installed it & driven a couple times. :)

I have a couple of brand new ones I would let go if you can't find any.

That 45478 looks exactly like the one I have I guess it could be a superstat. In looking at the descriptions between 45478 and 45358 is the latter states it has a V notch to allow air to escape. Does the ones you posted have that notch?

I'll check in the morning. Do you know where the notch would be? I always used to drill a 1/8" hole in them to help bleed.

I’m not sure that’s the first time I read that but I do think the one I have is a superstat 45478 but not 100% sure.

45478 is 2.49 diameter and the 45358 is 2.125 I think the latter is a 225 slant thermostat.
