I just bought a 67 coronet 500 convertible. The car is completely stock, except for the wheels. I did my best to decode the fender tag, but all I got was that they were 7.75x14WSW.
Is there another code on the car that would tell me what type of wheel, magnum 500, steel with dog dish or full hubcab?

Just going by the WP, I would say full wheel covers 14X5 1/2 wheels. The P is the premium price class, so not likely dog dish caps. Dog dish caps would be on a car with WL. It got 7.75X14 WSW tires which would be BSW tires on a WL car. The only way to know for sure is to have the build sheet. It's not indicated on the fender tag.

Need the broadcast sheet to know which covers. There were 2 full covers available. You couldn’t get dog dish caps on a 1967 Coronet 500 or a Satellite.

435 tire code are the 7.75x14, the larger size of the tires available so probably 14x5.5 wheels.

Stupid question alert: is there a place on the 66 data plate that shows tire size?

Not that Im aware of . BUT I am fairly certain the only tire avail on a 1966 Hemi car is 7.75-14 Blue streaks on a 14x5.5 rim

With full spinner type wheel covers as the only option on a Satellite and on Belvedere could be option to have either the samller beenie caps or full wheel covers similar to the Satellite,,,,,,,EXCEPT no spinner centers

That looks like a very early production date and the axle, interior code, and upper door panel color is offset to the left. It also looks like SO# is the beginning of the run. This makes the question of wheel covers more interesting. I would love to see the build sheet/broadcast sheet on this one.

Killer combination. and I just noticed how the 2nd line is offset to the left just a bit . Interesting,,,as I have never seen that happen on the data tags before
