This guy is a phenomenal body man/mechanic. The car needed a rear quarter and he beat one out of sheet metal. The name of his video is "Cold War Motors". He collects quite a bit of iron, most will probably sit till someone else gets to them.

Allow me to correct some of these statements on behalf of Scott, please:

1. The '60 Fury is actually a grafting of two different models - a Dodge and a Plymouth - literally joined at the hip
(or in this case, around the rear seat area). Scott has always wanted one of these and he did it the only way
he figured he'd ever afford to. The series on that car's construction is 5 years long and it's incredible stuff.

2. The rear quarter he made basically from scratch may even be more impressive - it's for his friend Jim's
'56 Continental!
Scott has literally decades of experience in all manner of metal body fabrication, paint and refinishing - his father
before him as well - and was taught in the old school craftsmanship ways of doing things.
What he accomplishes routinely, with scant equipment oftentimes, borders on amazing.

3. The "iron" you refer to is his collection (he calls his "junkyard") of over 50 old cars, mostly from the 50's and
most in need of total refurbishment - or perhaps scrapping, in some cases.
He loves having them around and there are plans for several; others serve as parts cars.
If he hears of one about to be scrapped and it's in his wheelhouse, he just goes and rescues it.

Finally - CWM has been a dozen year project of Scott and his friends (the "Agents") that he seriously about gave
up doing a few years ago, since all the video time was costing him $$$ as he neglected actual work for it at
times. It's a wonderfully amusing, laid back show with a group of regular characters, all of whom share an
eclectic love of all manner of cars.

When he started hinting that he was going to have to stop producing the YT content, I was the first of many
longtime subscribers to urge him to reconsider - and open a Patreon account to help support the channel.
Scott being very humble didn't think anyone would want to do that...
What he instead found out was that he has a small, but loyal worldwide base of support and we DO
support the channel monetarily as well as by views, allowing him to keep doing it.

Best entertainment buck I spend every month, well worth it - and couldn't have been aimed at a more deserving
fellow, far as I'm concerned.
If you all haven't checked out the channel, I strongly encourage you to!

Amazing stuff, yep - then they went on to graft a big chunk of a 3rd car onto the rear after that!
From all accounts though, the finished result drives beautifully and he's been visited by the previous
owners' family already, who got to see and ride in the car.
It's a wonderful story really.

Thats pretty cool and wild at the same time. I have been putting a 60 fury back together for a customer this past summer. the car was restored well but had a very incompetent mechanic swap a 413 into it. It is also a canadian built car as I found out when I had to get a new turn signal switch for it. Its amazing how many NOS parts are still out there for it.
