Pardon my ignorance I am new to car restoration my thing has always been motorcycles.
This is my first build and it is as stated a 73 satellite, stock.
Tires are rotted so I want to roll it around.
Someone on FB has a set of 4 wheels/tires for sale and there is a lot of information but I only know about 1/2 of it works for fitment.
Here is his text:

ENKEI 15 inch wheels 5x4.5 bolt pattern. I had them on a 1970 amx years ago. Exellent condition.
Tires 265/50/15 on the rear, Front 205/60/15 .
They will fit AMC, Ford, Chrysler. $ 750 .00 obo. wheels were made in Japan.
The boar in the back of the wheel is 3 inches in diameter
The measurement for front wheels are 7“ x 15. The rear wheels are 8 1/2 x 15.

Will these work and would they look decent? (haha, i know)

The wheels will fit but check the date code on the tires. If they are over 10 years old they are ok for the garage/driveway but I wouldn’t drive on them.

I have the the same width wheels on my 73 and no issues. Also, I agree with above about the date codes as well and my tires are approx. 10 years old. However I only have a bout 7,000 miles on them and were kept out of the sun. No cracks or signs of deterioration. It is on my mind while I drive on them. I know I need to replace them soon. Good luck whatever you decide!

They will fit if they are indeed 4.5” bolt pattern, but the price is quite high for those rims, unless those are your dream rims. You can get some steel wheels and roller tires for about $100 just to roll it around.

What do you value them at if the tires are

Wheels and tires make a huge statement about how a vehicles look.
I get some people that don't like the wheels on my car but I get more comments from those that like them.
It really doesn't matter to me though. I spent my own money on them so I went with what I wanted. My car isn't a stock restoration anyway.
My first thought when seeing the wheels posted in this thread was...The 1990s just called. They want their wheels back.
That is my opinion. At the same time, I actually like the style of wheels that were common when these cars were new. Slotted mags, Cragars, Keystone classics....To me, they look like what is commonly called a "Day Two" car.

The bolt pattern is correct for the aftermarket wheels I have. But the backspacing on the rears is -26 and the fronts are -7. Most of the Internet site show 4 1/2 inch backspacing.
My wheels have a negative backspace. Which will push the wheel and tire out closer to the fender lip. The wheels will my wheels have a deep dish to them.

You will need to know the backspace, especially for the rear. You will need about 4.5" on the back.

Yes, I could not agree more they most significant thing for look that you can control until you start changing the stock body panels, hood, etc.

Yes sir it is! There are or were pictures in my photo garage. I can no longer find it since the software upgrade a few months back. However, any pictures of mine will not be of much help as my car has a narrower rear and offset spring hangers from it's drag racing days. The wheels on the rear are American Racing slots that I have had for 50 years. They are 8 1/2" wide & have a 3 1/2" back spacing if I remember correctly. The fronts are the newer style of the same wheel from same company. I think the fronts are 7" & have a 4" back spacing. Front tires are F-60 x 15" & rears are N-50 15". Aluminum slots are my favorite wheel & I found out recently, that American Racing just stopped making them. However, US Mags still makes them called the Indy Series, Thank God; as I want 10" wheels for the rear & 8"' in front. I will try to find a few pics of my car on the computer here, I am at work currently, lol!

71 Plymouth B bodies need lots of wheel outboard of the axle flange... They can also swallow allot of wheel offset inboard of the axle flange... The size wouldn't be an issue other than you could fit a much bigger wheel/tire... However as Greg mentioned.. The 1990s just called. They want their wheels back. And that is just the way it is....

With the springs in the stock location, yes.
My 18 x10s have 4 1/2” and I have less than an inch to the springs.

I just ordered a set of 15x10 Wheel Vintiques 63 series which says they are Chrysler but have 5 1/2" backspace so I guess we will see.

Oh they will fit one way or another. This is a complete build so I will find out during mock up and if the springs need to move then thats what will happen.

Gotcha, thought maybe you took a chance ordering them. I always seem to get rubbing on the inner fenders way before the tires hit the springs.

Wheel/tire selection is always problematic especially if you are after a certain look. I want some wide rubber out back and actually in the front too to a degree so I am going to use 15x8 in the front and 15x10 in the rear then I can make the car fit around all that
