I misplaced a couple of dies (1/4 & #10) and have been waiting several weeks for them to "show up" sometime during my daily duties of restoration tasks (but nothing doing). So this morning I decided to "bite the bullet" and make it a priority to look through everything in the chance I might find them (see photo #1). I had not found them after having gone through everything except for one last box. Then, Eureka, in the last box were the two dies staring at me in the face. What could have been a minute or two search, ended up to be a couple of hours (although I did find some other stuff during the search I am going to need in the near future, so not a total loss of time).

It will ALWAYS be in the last box, because you usually don't keep looking once you find it... :bananadance:

Welcome to the "Over 60 Club" 301.gif

It's just hitting you now? I went through all my gifs twice trying to find the old man one that I just used.

The exception (that just happened to me over the holidays), is if you have a stack of 18 boxes, and you look in 17 of them before finding the item you are looking for.....in the 18th box in the stack.

Murphy also dictates that the order you open them does not matter, the item will be in the 18th box opened.

When I get frustrated and finally find something, I always look in one more place so I don't have to hear or think 'it's always in the last place you look.'

Maybe you could somehow apply the so called Monty Hall principle?
