Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has a 71 b/e floor pan from amd they haven't installed yet?

I was hoping someone could weigh it for me. I'm comparing it to the goodmark one I installed in a video. I know there's talk of them using "thicker" metal. But I'm pretty confident its just a myth and would like to do the comparison.

AMD website says 50 lbs and 21 gauge steel. What is the Goodmark? I have a spare AMD but last time I used my scale it lied to me.

Lol yeah scales do that. I know it say's 50, but I suspect that's shipping weight. I'll say when I measured my goodmark it looks like 21 gauge as well and it was no where near 50 lbs..

Would you mind telling me what the scale says? If you have a micrometer or measuring tool capable of measuring the thickness at the firewall flange that would be awesome also :p

I cannot speak to the floor pans but I can to quarter panel skins, I had some Goodmark skins for my 73 Cuda and they were very thin in comparison to the AMD units. I did measure them back then and don't remember exactly what they were but I think that the Goodmark skins were like 22-24 gauge whereas the AMD units were more like 18-20.
