Yep, I knew it was broken immediately after it happened and I have a new curved one and proper sized H sliders to replace it.

That looks very much like the one that opened up in Richmond (June 1, 1967, first one in Canada and first outside the USA). Our family went there often, no inside seating so we took it home. When signed up to their birthday club, they sent you a card every birthday until age 12 that let you have a free hamburger. I remember one time my dad went and picked up an order for our family, got home and the fries were missing. So he got on the phone and talked to the manager. The manager promptly drove to our house with the missing fries, plus an apple pie for each of us.


It was rebuilt much larger in the '70s.

They rebuilt again for their 50th anniversary, still on the same property.
