Long time lurker, made a profile back in 2020 but just started posting recently. Just realized I’ve never said hello in the Welcome Wagon. This is a great community on here - thanks for all of the laughs and knowledge over the years!

Prior owner of 68 Dart GTS, 69 N96 Bee and 70 Challenger RT. All drivers and bastardized at some point. One of the following applies to all the cars I own or have owned - missing fender tags, non original drivetrains, big hood scoops. I respect the history and rarity of cars but it has not been in my budget to own numbers matching cars. And I like to go fast and drive them.

Current owner of 69 A12 RR that was known as “the pickle” on this site when owned by Richard Cranium.

Caretaker of 68 383/4spd. RR that belonged to my younger brother, RIP.

At one point or another I have attended or driven a car to most of the Mopar shows around California or Nevada over the last 15-20 years like Spring Fling, Mopar Alley, Mopars in the Park, Mopar Magic, MATS Vegas etc. Probably seen or talked to some of the West Coasters on here in-person and not even known it.

Just a working guy with young family, and feel blessed to still be in this hobby. Dumb luck and an awesome friend are how I acquired the A12. Car disease started young due to my Dad. Progressed into working as a gopher at an engine machine shop and also lending a hand at an exhaust shop as a teenager in the 90s. Career, coaching and family keeps me busy but I am trying to get back out and involved in this great hobby of ours as time allows. 25A2C202-785C-4F43-8595-5C98C775FD47.jpeg

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Nice RR A12 car

Welcome to FBBO from Ontario, Canada. I like both of your RoadRunners. It seems like about half of all the A12 cars were that Apple Green! I bought a new 383, automatic SuperBee in February 1969, about a month before the A12's were announced for an extra $400. Damn! Missed it by THAT much. Oh well; I got in enough trouble with my 383. I likey would have killed myself with a 440 SixPack! Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome from NJ!

Welcome... Nice assortment of B bodies... I'm guessing when you signed up you still had a Super Bee? With the BeeNV screen name I was expecting a Dodge & all ya got is a couple old Plymouths....:poke::poke::lol: But pretty sweet Plymouths just the same.. Sorry to hear of your brothers passing... And yeah, we could have spoken in the past, I've attended every show you listed & quite a few more.... Though honestly I'd rather be driving them rather than showing them..

1 Wild R/T,

Spot on, yep had the Bee when I joined but traded it as part of the deal for the A12 aka pickle. Other Dodges were liquidated as well…095E64D4-8470-4931-94EA-0369EB7AD012.jpeg63679C80-FA1F-4908-83A3-1986C51FECF9.jpeg

Welcome to the site. I always liked that pickle. Thought it would be a real good A12 car to drive and enjoy. There have been enough mods done to it that putting some miles on it probably won't affect the value much imo.

Nice Plum Crazy Challenger... The Bee was sweet too... You've had more nice cars than you eluded to in your first post... Awesome...

Thanks! And yes I hope to put some miles on it this summer. Snow is almost gone!

Thanks again. They were road warriors that did several 1000 mile round trips to Vegas and LA. Also lots of miles on the high elevation passes of the Sierras and in the backroads of the Nevada high desert. Added fat tires, six packs, aluminum heads and fiberglass hoods but tried to use factory appearing or day 2 parts. Some people at the shows would give me serious crap over the hoods because the Bee was originally an N96 car and the Challenger was an RT. Also both had color changes, typical lower qtr. and trunk rust issues and no broadcast sheets. The Challenger was also missing a fender tag so I had one made (photo below) in response to all of the purists who liked to criticize and henpeck me. The thing is I love the cars with a pedigree, all matching numbers etc. I just would be too stressed out to own one even if I could afford one. I have young kids and live on rural, dusty, gravel covered horse property. I prefer the 20 footers and drivers.
