I did a frame off restoration of a 65 Rivi a few years back. The 63 and 64 models came with fixed headlights as the clamshells were 65 only. Rechroming cost me a mint, lots of it. Parts were not easy to come by but all that real walnut veneer panels for the doors and console was available and looked awesome. Buick sold them as a 'Sport Luxury " class car and they cost more than the Corvettes at the time. The movie Road House made them somewhat of a collectable with a big boost of exposure. I like em too...

Somebody should give that girl the sausage the cat was eating a few post back. She is paper thin .

It's called "model thin".

Actual term, although I often hear "model skinny".
