Otis hurricane

Today at midnight the hurricane Otis hit ground as a category 5 in Acapulco, this is about 8 hours from where I live, it supposedly to rain pouring here but not thank God.

I live in uruapan is in the upper left of the picture.

The hurricane hit really hard the touristic port of Acapulco, right now is all the communications are severed, all the main roads have landslides, the few pictures available show a lot of destruction, winds over 273 km/h ( 170 mph) and high tides the worst is feared.

Hope all is well for you, your family and friends. We'd vacationed in Acapulco many years ago. Is the Acapulco Princess still in business ? Nice resort, beach, water, weather. Outside surrounding areas, not so.

Apparently yes, in 12 hours went from tropical storm to cat 5, no time for preparation for anything.
