I'm installing new body bumpers from a kit I bought and it would be really helpful if someone had pics to share of the various locations and orientations. I got the 8 under-hood bumpers installed, but it took some trial-and-error to figure out the correct bumpers, and mounting positions, for the 4 bumpers that press into the rectangular slots along the fenders towards the front of the hood. The 2 big round ones and 2 small ones at the front and rear hood corners were easy enough, but there's several more and it would be helpful for me and others if someone had some pics to show where the rest go. Thank you!

I just look at the the new posts from the "Home" page ... don't look at individual forums - waste of time !!

Do you have anything helpful to offer? Or do you just read posts to question what people's year and model is? Your suggestion to only view new posts is ridiculous. So I'm supposed to wait here until someone HAPPENS to ask the same question in a new topic??

The way forums work is you post questions in a relevant topic to get relevant help. This is a section for 2nd-gen Chargers, and that's what I have. Don't respond if you have no answer.

To everyone else: If someone with a 2nd-gen Charger would be able to take a few pics of the various body bumper locations, it would be helpful to a lot more people than just me. Thank you!

I agree with @gkent Ivalso look at the recent posts. I don’t check it forum by forum. I was also wondering what year and model.

Sheesh. It looks like FBBO stores 8 pages of Recent Posts. This is also not searchable in full, you have to click through each page. And surprise, no posts (other than mine) about body bumper locations for a 1968 - 1970 Charger. What a silly suggestion. I guess some people just don't understand how forums work.

All this would take, and it would benefit ALL owners of second-gen Chargers...and also 1968 - 1970 B-Body owners in general...is a few photos of all body bumper locations.

Let's stop the petty nitpicking and share the knowledge, that's what a forum is supposed to be.

You are confusing "recent" with "new posts". Any of us that have been here for years participating and helping click "new posts" if not daily.. multiple times per day. Then we click each of those to see what's new and pay zero attention to what section the post is in.

There are lots of members restoration threads that probably show body bumper locations to check out, you just have to put in some time.

If not, as a member of 5 weeks, maybe tone it down 3 notches and someone will help you before adding you to their "list".

Am I the only guy that sees exactly where each post is from??

Thank you, RemCharger.

Forum snobbery doesn't work with me. I may be new here but I've been a forum moderator on other forums and a well-documented build thread on 1970chargerregistry.com for many years. Surely I don't know it all and need to ask questions, but people picking apart new members' posts for silly reasons that aren't helpful, or "search the forums" type of responses, are a waste of time. I know how to search forums and going through random members' 20-page build threads hoping to find a tidbit of relevant information (or not) is not an efficient way to find info.

I'll take some pics and post later this evening. I want this information to help me, and OTHERS who might be browsing the 1968 - 1970 Charger forum.

No snobbery... just can't handle entitlement, especially from someone of vintage age. If you actually spent some time you'd have them in place already.

Gkent was gonna take you pictures... but you pissed him off. I'm at camp so can't get to my desktop pics... but they're already here in the members restoration section anyhow!

Here's what I have left after installing the ones under the hood; the 2 big round ones at the front that are bolted in, 2 along the fenders on each side and one at each corner of the cowl. I haven't done the doors or trunk bumpers yet, nor any on the interior, like the ashtray and glovebox door bumper. I may have dropped the other "F" somewhere down in the nether regions above the K frame, of course the damn thing didn't fall down to the ground...

The 4 A s go in the sides, the 2 in there are upside down.

C doors
E, D , ashtray, glove box?
F lic plate?
I pedal stop?

@Coelacanth thanks for asking this question, mine are missing.
@RemCharger thanks for the information.

There are multiple sources for body bumper kits. Where did @Coelacanth get his?

Mopar Restoration (Authentic Restoration)?
Detroit Muscle Technologies (DMT)?
Legendary Auto Interiors?
Year One (they say 23 pieces, but only show 21 pieces in their picture)?
A different source?

Did any of the bumpers in the kit you bought have a part number moulded into them?
