I’ve searched for measurements but can only find left to right ones. Not sure my car has the correct engine mounts.(They are solid and came with the car years ago. Does the gap look correct from the oil pan to kframe? The measurement is center of crank bolt to kframe. 1970 Road Runner with a 440. Thanks!

Yes it does to me. It's really tight. When I changed the oil pan on my charger to a bigger one without pulling the engine I had to dislocate an break a couple bones in my fingers to get all the bolts started.

I kid of course, kinda.

I was kinda hopeful it should be lower….

Does anyone have an engine mount bracket dimension chart? Not sure I have the correct brackets…

And yes I know they have solid mounts…

Do you really need solid motor mounts ???
They worked pretty good when I would dump the clutch at 5500 rpm on the starting line with the old setup…new engine has a lot more power but is now an automatic. So who knows. lol.

Problem is engine sits 3/4” to high and air cleaner hits air grabber hood. Hood is new to car.

There are some really good mount available now that are not solid. I bought a set a few years back in Carlisle - polyurethane instear of rubber and locking tabs to limit the movement.

It’s pretty hard to take the 5 1/4 measurement with the pulleys on. Also, what air cleaner are you using? If it’s an Airgrabber aircleaner they have different heights for the bases. A 383 base is 3/4" higher than a 440 base. Perhaps you have the wrong one.
If it’s not a Airgrabber bases perhaps you can get a lower drop base for the air cleaner that you are using.

440 Airgrabber air cleaner on a Holley Street Dominator intake. I don’t have a picture of it in the car right now because I took it and the carb off to try to get it to sit lower.

Thought they were one of the shortest. That’s why I picked it. was supposed to fit underneath the hood.

Street dominator should be fine. A 440 aircleaner base is the lowest one you can get. A 383 base is 3/4" higher.

It looks like you have a spacer under the carb? I’d take that out if you’re having these issues.

If still too high you need to get the correct height on the motor mounts.

No spacer. Just carb to intake.

Looking at data that intake is about 1" higher than factory. There's some threads about running air grabbers and intakes. I'd probably run a ch4b or similar b block intake if you want a step over stock.
