Bristol, well known for its British fighters and bombers of WWII, went into automobile production after the war. One of the models, the 412, was offered in the 1970s with Chrysler 400 B engine power, later on using the 360 LA engine. But this Beaufighter, built in 1982, upped the power by using a turbocharger on the 360. Less than thirty example were built with this powerplant.

You are correct, they used coil springs.I don’t know what they used in the Intercepter, don’t imagine it would be torsion bars. Someone will know more than I do. I read the article about 60 years ago.
