Hi I wanted to share my experience in doing 3 inch tubs to fit 29x15x15 mickey thompson sportsman sr tires so this is what you have to do, it's not just adding 3 inches to the wheelhouse, you have to cut and modify the wheel house at the quarter panel also because of the tire height and I ended up shortening my rear end 1 inch on each side to give me proper clearance, so if anyone tells you different then good luck

Is that those inner tubs made by AMD or whoever it is?

Can you provide the before and during pictures. I am doing that exact 3" inner wheel well now. Thanks

I did the same on my Challenger with the mini tub to the frame rails, not on my Chargers though, yet. I am able to run a 315/60/15 Drag Radial or a 29.5x10.5W slick with room to spare with either tire on the Challenger.

That’s what I did for my 68 Coronet. However, I REALLY want old school slotted mags that only have 3 1/2” backspace so I’m considering narrowing my rear end. What’s involved? Is it doable by someone like me with general know how and tools?

Mainly you need a jig and a welder. And be a competent welder.

If you've got more pictures or details on this i'd like to see em. Considering doing this on my 69' bee.

Is it just rolling the edge of the fenderwell, or do you have to modify the outer wheelhouse as well to gain the necessary height?

How much clearance do you have to the frame and to the fenderwell?

You said you narrowed the rear end and inch on both sides, whats the offset/backspace for your wheels?
