For anyone who is looking for turquoise engine enamel, I bought a couple of cans from Mancini and it is pretty much an exact match to the Mopar turquoise that I had used on the bolt on parts, and that you can't get anymore.
How has this paint held up? Did it dry and harden properly? I had the engine shop spray a 383 after rebuild for me with OER rattle cans that I bought from Classic Industries and it is awful. Engine shop got their greasy pawprints all over the valve covers and when I tried to clean the finger prints/oil/grease off with IPA, the paint softened immediately. Wax/grease remover had the same results. So have to strip the engine and respray. Debating whether to go rattle can or spray with a gun using Bill Hersch engine enamel. VHT is not producing the turquoise(69) any longer. For anyone who is looking for turquoise engine enamel, I bought a couple of cans from Mancini and it is pretty much an exact match to the Mopar turquoise that I had used on the bolt on parts, and that you can't get anymore.
