I like some greens.
In fact, I like most of them. I’ve sort of come around to Sublime in a way.
My point is more about an engine bay that retains a the car’s original color while the rest of the car was another color.

I love me some greens too...but I've never been a fan of bright orange. I don't think I could ever do a Hemi orange motor in my green engine bay.

My green '70 Charger had orange painted Mopar Performance valve covers and an orange painted air cleaner when I got it.

And dixie air horns.

Saved it just in time!

I've posed this question to two car guys so far, and the response was five people asking how much I wanted for my car. lol. I think it has to be the most dangerous question of all time... like I should watch out for car guys in the bushes with flashlights.

post some pics... The thing is 1968, is honestly the best year for the charger and the only year i would even want. They go for INSANE money.. like something that should have been scrapped and needs a frame and basically everything can get 10k... driving in horrible shape but has parts.. 20k... it's really that crazy. BTW.... unless you are rolling in money make sure you really want to sell it, soon you wont be able to afford one.

I looked at a 68 318 car for a member that was a bondo'd up driver in fair condition. Dealer sold it for 45k and the new dealer has it listed for 56k. A nice 318 68 just sold on BAT for 62k.

I picked the Charger up back in 2006... then deployed five more times and left it in storage. I got about as far as stripping out the interior to get the rear quarters welded in, and got sidetracked by life. Still have the new skins in the cab. Now I have to fix the damage to my El Camino. 72 El Camino is my first car, and the one I restored with my dad... it takes priority. Chargers are super cool, but "projects" am I right?

Haven't really decided what to do, but I have 3 more cars and 4 motorcycles waiting in the wings.

Easy to me... if you don't love the charger sell it, if you love it and want it one day keep it, there is no rush on finishing a project.. some guys here have taken well over 10 years to get a car going. BTW... even sitting in storage it will only go up in value.. never down.
