If you know anything about MOOG parts and manufacturing, I would be jumping all over this as they are very good and easily fitted to our older rides. I only used MOOG and nothing else when I had my rides...cr8crshr/Bill

I'm still relatively new here and new to classic mopars, so I wasn't around for those cases. Once they arrive I'll take pics with a micrometer on the threaded area, would that be enough to figure out if they are undersized or is it possible the overall size is correct but thread pitch could be off causing an issue? I wouldn't be able to measure that.

These ball joints are cheap enough to buy one to destroy without losing much. Cut it in half and see how it's made. 10 to 1 odds theres plastic inside.

The Spicer joints in the front suspension kit I bought from Bill Rolik were American nade and are good quality. But they weren't cheap, I'll tell you that.

Ok they came in. It occurred to me that I've been working on my own cars for repairs and mods (and sometimes other's cars) since 1988, but I don't think I've ever bought a ball joint before.
Anyway they indicate made in the U.S.A. I measured both a couple of times, which I am not the best at, but one is a slight bit smaller than the other, but I have no idea if that tolerance is a problem or not.
I spun them while measuring and they are slightly out of round, like .001 or so.
Judge for yourself by checking out the pics.

Yes. I get the same readings on my dial calipers on the two ball joints I checked. 1.839" to 1.840".

I bought 4 and compared to the old ones I pulled off he car. They measure out the same and even started threading into my rusted UCAs and seemed right.

I also bout a set of Moog UCA bushings. They indicate made in India.

I just checked and they still show at $3.83 for me. Might order a 5th and cut it open as someone suggested.

I went back to my previous order and ordered another - delivery Saturday and then I'll cut it open with a grinder "for science".

Those are the "other offers", not the original $3.88 price we've paid. Wonder if they sold out?

I had the wife order 4 for me. If nothing else, they come with grease boots you can use to replace a torn one where the ball joint is still good..

Mine arrived earlier today. Bought 4, cuz what the hell. lol

Other than the gorillas throwing the package around and ripping open a couple box ends, they arrived as expected to my untrained eye. Box came with a greasy bag of unopened hardware, boot and ball joint itself. Ball joints are all full of grease.
