Sea turtles are very docile creatures. They won't bite you unless you stick your hand in their mouth and even then I don't think they would hurt you bad unless it's nesting season.Wife when we were on Grand Cayman Island grabbed the tail of a sea turtle and took a ride for 10/15 seconds then let go. Good thing it didn't turn and bite her.
