Wife when we were on Grand Cayman Island grabbed the tail of a sea turtle and took a ride for 10/15 seconds then let go. Good thing it didn't turn and bite her.

Sea turtles are very docile creatures. They won't bite you unless you stick your hand in their mouth and even then I don't think they would hurt you bad unless it's nesting season.
