Hey guys
Can anyone tell me where I can find a suspension setup for a 66 coronet for a road course? If I'm in the wrong section of forum, which one should I be in? Thanks

It really does depend on what your goals are but.....
While I have not taken my cars on a road course, others here have. One member, maybe @Superbeemike can chime in with some advice.
I'm sure that you know that first off, the torsion bar suspension is excellent but could stand for some upgrades. I'd advise to ignore any suggestions to convert to any sort of replacement front suspension and steering kit that eliminates torsion bars and replaces them with a coil over design.
You will see major improvements by using larger torsion bars, better shocks, anti sway bars, HD leaf springs and a proper front end alignment with some negative camber and positive caster. Wheels at least 8" wide with tires at least 255mm wide.
My red Charger has 1.15" torsion bars, a tubular 1.25" front sway bar, Bilstein shocks, QA 1 upper control arms that allowed me to get 8 degrees of positive caster and 1 degree of negative camber. HD leaf springs, Bilstein shocks, a 3/4" rear sway bar and urethane shackle bushings. I also switched to a modern steering box from Borgeson. It has none of the slop that the factory steering boxes have.
Good luck.

That would be a great start.

And 255 or wider tires are needed. Tougher on a 66-67 since they are tighter on tire room.

Decent steeet type tires are going to put with 17”, 18” diameter.

Starting point for brakes are 11.75 factory type with Dr.Diff caliper adapters. Then up from their.

I’ve had pretty good success with my 69’ Bee out on the road course. I’m using stock style suspension with simple bolt on’s. Here’s a link to my build thread…
