For a 440 V8 in a 1966 Coronet 21 body, what is correct negative battery cable length?
Classic Industires lists 15 inches, 23 inches, and 25 inches. 15 inches is too short, but which of the other 2 lengths is correct?
Are they measured bolt center at block to center of battery post?
Thanks

There is no correct length as a 1966 Coronet did not come with a 440 originally.
I would choose the longer cable.
They originally were run straight diagonally from the battery to the intake manifold bolt. (on a 383)

Thanks. I did not know they didn't come with 440 option.
Thought no 440 in factory shoop manual was a 1st year misprint.
Downloaded a 1966 Dealer Brochure, no 440.
My restoration is officially a retrofit.
