If you wanted to build a Charger with an aftermarket chassis this might actually be worth the price. Figure out what it would cost to buy a rusty Charger carcus and your labor to cut it all apart, you would be ahead of the game to buy this and start mounting it on the new chassis, or use it for a body over build on a modern Charger or Challenger. Or maybe build one of those Crown Vic jump Chargers out of it.

If that was local it would be on my trailer. I would want to pay two grand or less for it. Most Chargers from my area need that much metal work anyway. That's why I have been buying them from California these days.

I guess I’m stuck in the 80’s… when did AC become a desirable thing on these cars? I can understand adding a new kit but that factory setup took up way too much room and is antiquated.
 
Factory set up works well and easy to work with... Mine will put frost on the windshield on a scorching hot day.... Besides most of us are antiquated and we still work.. I wanted factory ac I don’t like the way most aftermarket systems run their hoses and all the Chinese compressors and parts. Just my opinion ..

It was N/A on my cars. And all of the GM and Ford high performance cars of the era. Granted, I live outside Philly… but I don’t remember seeing AC on any of the B bodies I picked parts off of in the early 80’s. It did seem like most C bodies had it though.

It was rare in Pennsylvania. When my car was new, I thought the original owner had ordered it just to prove he could afford it. Now that I'm old, I realize how smart he was.

My Charger has 2 strikes. E87,D21.

The ‘Cuda has three. E87,D21,N96.

I get wanting it now as we’re older, and all cars have it standard now. As a kid my parents only had one car with it, a ‘74 Monte Carlo. None of their Mopars had it. But pretty much all the top performance packages from all the makes back then, A/C was not available.

It is a NON R/T but mechanically complete. It runs, drives, stops, steers and is registered and insured. It is NOT for sale. It will NOT be sold anytime soon. Fenders are NOT reproduced. Under the skin, it is still basically a 1966-70 Belvedere/Road Runner/GTX/Coronet so all drivetrain stuff interchanges.
