Early start this morning
"Hump day" the pinnacle of the week, climbing back down toward the weekend. Be safe!
Car shows and cruises can be a bit strange if you take them to seriously. This one in the picture was one of only a few I've been involved with. See that White car behind my Coronet, it won. I got a model that sat on my car for a photoshoot. The white car was mine also, my Saleen. The trophy went with the car when they came and trailered it off. In my eyes, it's just another car to have fun with............... Next.Well unfortunately most of the people around here are snobs and only care about a big shiny trophy , so the turn out wasn’t great. But the few kids that sat and waited , the big grins on their faces , worth way more then a useless trophy
The cruise was put on by the American legion, the cops won’t close the streets for us , but the legion rider’s motorcycle club gladly blocks for us, so that’s pretty cool doing burnouts and being obnoxious in town, and having a few bikers flying around keeping you safe.

Your car is a car I could own, very nice, you did good!! Those with the smaller C post are a beautiful design and one of the reasons I picked my 65. Our taste run along the same lines, I do Darts too!! My brother had a Sebring he bought new. Some like them and some don't, I like them! That was a lifetime ago. Thanks for sharing!!There was a show at a elderly care facility yesterday from noon to 3. The patients, most in wheel chairs, enjoyed the show. I was parked next to a friend's Satellite Sebring Plus that his Mom picked off the showroom floor back in the day. It's always fun to see a original paint car looking so good.

I started falling for the early 60 B's with the 65 Coronets. So stylish. Then I looked around and saw the look of the 64's and really fell hard. This one fell into my lap from a friend that deals in Mopars and parts. I had to pull the trigger.Your car is a car I could own, very nice, you did good!! My dad always loved Darts and Coronets, another reason for my love of them. I worked with a guy that really got me going with that body style, Clay Kossuth. It would take me many years to end up in just the right spot and time to take one home. Clay was and is a trip to talk to, what a car guy!I started falling for the early 60 B's with the 65 Coronets.
