I remember that article. I may plan to do this upgrade to my front sway bar when I up-size my torsion bars later this summer.
I think I recall seeing KernDog having a set of these, but can't recall if he ever installed.

great to hear that some have had thousands of trouble-free miles after installing these. However, I'm seeing a few reviews such as this that give me pause:

do you remember what brand you installed? I'm seeing some bad reports on the Moog ones for quality.

I did. I meant to respond here earlier today about it.
The year was 2022. I had the engine and trans out of the car and was going through the K member and suspension.
I cleaned and blasted the K member. I rewelded a few areas. All suspension parts got sandblasted and coated.
The end links from Moog were the most robust and expensive.
The link above is how they come. The two sections below are what I cut out to shorten them to fit the 1970 chassis. You can see in the next picture how low they hang when installed as delivered.
After cutting, welding and sandblasting to natural finish:
I welded mine with a slight angle to fit better at ride height.

yeah, my car is 1968 so I would be able to use without shortening. You've reported good longevity, which is awesome. I would also like to hear long term reports from others as well since I'm seeing some early wear issues reported in online reviews.

Long term?
I made the switch to these when I had the engine out in 2022. I changed the brakes in the car then and swapped in these links. I expected an increase in harshness but that never happened. They just work.

Just so I'm understanding correctly, I need to buy 2 identical, one for each side if my LCA's have sway bar tabs, correct? And if not then 2 identical 90-degree parts? Just confirming it's not 1 of each...

Since you already have a front sway bar, you just need two of these:
Are those extra you have on hand or did you dig up an old photo? You are a wealth of photos my friend!
By the way, on my current sway bar end links I have nylon seal lock nuts installed. It looks like these Moogs are not supplied with lock nuts, but would it be better to use some?

No, they have a flange washer type nut and torque to I believe 65. It says on the bag or a slip in there the torque. I had mine off a couple weeks ago to do shocks and they were still perfectly tight. Just make sure to hold a backup wrench while doing this so the grease fittings stay forward and you’ll be golden. Lower the bar by rolling down and do both sides up into position at the same time.

I'd check the sourcing on the Moog parts, most are made in China now. Ugh.

Those are extras. I bought two pair three years back. I took pictures of them with part numbers for instances like these.

Available from RockAuto. No need to go with Moog, other brands work just as well.
