Yes it did. It wasn't well promoted, a lot of people didn't even know it was a Monkee's film from the ads, which were very few. And people were looking for the commercial upbeat Monkees from their previous tv show, (the show had already been off the air when the movie was made) not an anti-war film.

But the music from the movie, especially 'Porpoise Song' and 'Circle Sky' were pretty good.
