If they were in your underwear bag, CERTAINLY NOT!

Just got back home, as always, it is tough act to follow what has already been shared. Great to meet and share experiences and laughs with like minded individuals, goes beyond Mopars, I will leave it at that.
Great job Hawk, Pete, Ruth, Barry and all others that made it Great!

While I never thought of Californians as “tougher” than others, I have to give respect to you guys that live with weather like this. I wouldn’t say it kicked my *** but it sure did test me. I can deal with the heat but the thick humidity that you guys live with is unreal to me. The summer rain is weird too. I am impressed that people around here just deal with it and don’t let it ruin the good time. THIS is as American as anyone can be.

Maybe Pennsylvania is where the Olympic training village should be - for athlete acclimatisation.

If you run a marathon there, you run one anywhere.

My friend, It’s hard for me to find words to express my appreciation of you processing what we deal with here. I can’t recall (in my old age) if I told you about my first trip to the golden state. Serious heat, but no humidity. Thought it was heaven.

I’ve roughed it out here, because the oppressive climate keeps the cost of living cheap. Six crummy months a year makes us appreciate the good six.

This trip did open my eyes to the strong spirit of you guys.
You asked the question - how does anyone procreate here with this weather?

An old farmer saying " When the weather's hot and sticky, it's not time to dunk the dicky. When the frost is on the pumpkin, it's time for dicky dunking."

Everyone who worked the club tent did a fantastic job!!!! No matter what the numbers say the FBBO tent was truly the best club tent in an oasis in of Mopars and humidity!!!! Thank you all!!!

Wow, what a show! The heat may have been brutal, but the volume of Mopars and the swap meet are one of those "you gotta experience it to believe it" events. I really enjoyed seeing some familiar faces from past shows and meeting some new friends! Honestly, the food and fellowship at the tent were the highlight of the weekend for my wife Allison and me.

Pistol Pete, Ruth, and Barry - you guys prepared an abundance of phenomenal food, and we can't thank you enough! Hawk, your enthusiasm, hard work, and willingness to organize the festivities are truly appreciated! Michael, AKA the newly wed, worked the grill like a master!
It was terrific to see all of you guys and wives of members. If you are reading this and didn't make the show, I strongly encourage you to join everyone in 2026 - you won't regret it. I look forward to seeing all of you again next year! Thank you to everyone!

Honestly KD, you were here a couple of days. What you experienced is not like this every day.

However, the range of weather throughout the year can be a lot. The winter conditions can be every bit as brutal as what we had this weekend, maybe more.

But when it’s nice, it’s really really nice here. Beautiful too. I’d call it 6-7 months of very good weather, you just don’t know what days they will be.

Well, now we know why we will have a hard time getting beyond 3rd place. The tent is ONLY determined by the number of people that show a car and register it as FBBO.
Passing along some info to any members that are thinking about attending the event in 2026. For 2025 the spectator passes were 30 dollars for the three day pass. So it would have been $60 for two (me and the wife). During the discount period I was able to register a car for the showfield for $59.50 and selected FBBO as club. Which includes entry for two people per car. Since I was flying in, I rented a durango and was able to park inside. Unless you find free parking on the street, most places will charge $10 a day to park.
So let's get the #'s up for next year. If your unable to bring your classic mopar. Register your chrysler family badged daily driver or parts hauler and help get FBBO to first or second place next year.

You’ve got to admit that when the rain and wind came through yesterday afternoon, it cooled things off nicely. Too bad that the sun came back out to heat things up again.
