Hi everyone,
I want to ask for advice. Do you know if the front and rear sway bar from Hotchkis (part number 2255) will fit on my Dodge Polara 1964 B-Body (without factory sway bar) which according to the information is on B-body but from 1966-1969?
I read on some sites that it should fit if I weld the bracket that Hotchkis sells (part number 23366) to the lower arms.
Thanks in advance!

I do not. I have thought about putting them on but always have other projects that are more important

Following..... do you still have the factory lower control arms and 10" drums on your car, or is this modified??

I tried to write to Hotchkis 4 times, but unfortunately no one answered. I don't know if my emails don't go to their spam, since I'm from Europe :/ could someone else please ask my question?

Jegs has a Helwig bar listed for a 64 fury and 64 Dodge Polara. I think that is the bar I installed on a 64 Belvedere. I had to drill holes in K frame. Fit well.

I tried to contact Firm Feel to offer me a complete set (front and rear sway bars + all mounting accessories) but they had some computer problems last week, so I'm waiting for an offer. Does anyone have any other suggestions for a complete set of sway bars?

I don't think they make offers like a bidding war, they just offer the standard price on the website.

Ive heard Firm-Feel has been a bit of a problem for some, and as post #10 states, the pricing is what it is.... do a search on firmfeel bars tho....i dont think anyone is complaining about tha actual product.....and Hotchkiss doesnt make what you are looking for, AFAICT.

My head in the clouds...i did not notice you were a new member. You should really post something in the Welcome forum, and post some pix and info on your car.

Been around for quite a few years. I just bought a 64 Polara 500. Here: My new to me 64 Polara

I did mean the original poster of course..... but I DO love your Polara as well, and who wouldnt?? Is that considered a golden anniversary edition??
The horn button says so. It was white with a tan interior when new.

I've had this Firm Feel front bar on my 63 Fury for about 10 years. Easy to install and really flattened out the cornering. Can't help you on the rear.

Probably doesn’t help, but I located a factory sway bar for my ’63 Plymouth some 20-years ago as they were provided on police vehicles (along with other nice features regular passenger rides didn’t have). The bar bolted on; no drilling necessary. Made a big difference, though larger diameter would be better yet. Also wondered about the benefits adding a rear bar. I’m not aware of a kit for this for early B, though haven’t searched for one.
