‘79 wiper problem

Motor on firewall.

Tries to get the best pic possible. Mind you, this is on my all original car. The arm and link must be set with the wiper motor in the "park" position, meaning shutting the wiper off then shutting car off, with wiper-blade arms rested on the chrome cowl molding. ( snap the wiper-blade arms on after the linkage is installed )

The slot in the arm goes onto the plastic circle, with the arm IN THE NOTCH BETWEEN THE TWO RAISED EDGES OF THE DARK BLUE PIECE. In between the 10 o'clock and noon position on your pic. Now: you may have difficulty snapping the hole over the circle ( I had to s-l-o-w-l-y ream the hole out s-l-i-g-h-t-l-y in order to snap the hole onto it. )
