Coming down to the final stretch on a huge bunch of work including all new harnesses, gauge cluster refurbish, revamping nearly everything in the engine compartment, etc (pics promised!). This is my first time going through a muscle car (really, any car older than about 1997) and, while I'm super proud of the fact that I've done it all in my garage, I'm a bit stumped on this one.
Currently installing a new M&H dash harness and I've run into another harness that I both didn't expect to be there and can't seem to find a match for. After a medium amount of sleuthing, I can't seem to pin down a match for this thing or a factory name to search against (looking at map light harnesses doesn't provide a match). This harness is connected (in a roundabout way) to the two-terminal door jamb switches & dash map light. There was also a relay in the mix found floating around under the AM radio, not secured to the console. My assumption is the relay allows the jamb switches to turn on the map light when opened but also allow for independent map light function.
Hoping to find someone with more knowledge & experience than myself (effectively zero
) that can decipher if this is a stock piece, something from a different car, or something home-brewed. By the pictures...
Passenger jamb switch. The loose connector should connect into the dash harness:

The other two yellow wires above: one runs to the driver's jamb switch, the other runs into the connector pictured below (the connector should have two yellow wires but one fell apart when moved). The short black wire piggy backed to the fuse panel's ACC. / RR-ACC lane:

The relay this connector was plugged into:

This sets of wires also connects to the map light where the red lines piggy back to the fuse panel's ACC. / RR-ACC lane:

Over on the driver's side. This connectors goes into the new dash harness and the jamb switch (not pictured, behind my hand) has two leads, one going to the relay connector and one going into the new dash harness:

It doesn't strike me as stock since it's just a messy bit of work but the car certainly has other questionable electrical decisions from the factory. Any thoughts or help on this one? Time permitting today, I'll doodle up a quick sketch of the connections as well.
Thanks yall!
