Drivers side remote mirror, different mounts on B Body?

I am seeing two different mounting styles on 67-70 B Body. One style is, looking front to back, mounting stud then control cables then sheet metal mounting screw. The other style is control cable then mounting stud then sheet metal mounting screw. Has anyone seen the difference I am describing in the outside remote mirror mounting? Thanks Jim

Pictured below is the driver's remote and it supposedly came off of another 1970 Charger. I do not know if that is true.

Obviously, this remote mirror mounting is totally different than the non-remote on my 1970 Charger.

The first digit in the bottom numbering is difficult to read.

30549-401 First digit is a "3"?
50549-401 First digit is a "5"?
60549-401 First digit is a "6"?

Also, the round housing for the remote mirror is noticeably larger in diameter.

4-7/8" outside diameter of remote housing.
4-1/2" outside diameter of manual housing.

First thing. I want to thank you Delta V for all the effort and information you gave in your response to my remote mirror question. My 69 Charger was a "rescue" when I found it. The car had been picked over pretty good when I bought it. The car did not have a driver's door mirror on it, but the mounting wholes on the driver's door match the picture you sent of your 70 Charger door. My next question is are the mounting holes in the door the same for a remote mirror and a standard mirror? I would not expect Dodge to stamp two different mounting hole arrangements. Thanks again Jim

That is a later B-body 75-76 Mirror.. Fits a Charger but a 75-76 Model..

Those are correct..

I "think" we can safely say the holes in the door are the same for the standard round and remote round mirrors for 1970 Chargers.

Also, the "sport" mirrors appear to use the same hole patterns as per below:

Remote Mir. Or Del. 3_: This box was used to identify the type of left hand drivers side mirror, and in cases where the G31 right hand mirror was selected (see above), identify the matching style of the right hand mirror. The applicable codes here would be:
