My steering box is leaking fluid at the male inverted flare pressure fitting at the control valve. It is the fitting rhat the pressure hose screws onto. I believe there is an oring to seal between the fitting and the valve but I tried to unscrew the fitting but it was very tight and I did not want to break anything. Any ideas, comments, suggestions, please?

If you want a temp fix until you can get it apart, this stuff works.

So, seal expander wont fix that leak. Your issue is a leaking copper washer, similar to whats used on brake hose ends, only bigger. I was able to get one apart by just bopping the wrench with a dead blow...once. Maybe someone worked on yours with some hardening type of goop??
