Exhaust fumes will pit those rear bezels and trunk finish panel faster than you can blink. Speaking from experience.

found my glass in the hole.......vent windows are the first things to come down, newspaper from 1989.....the pitting on the bottom pieces is more than I hoped, but the other parts are very nice driver........ I started to take one of them apart back then, not sure why; I have another set for parts....... I don't mind a little patina, most of the car will have original trim, I'll probably drop these in and run them

I don't see my original rear glass up there, but I can confirm the 2 rears I cleaned up last week are green...... so I'm good

the wing windows are actually labeled "tint" ..... I cannot see any writing at all on the rear glass, am I missing it? @dadsbee

I cannot find the little "safety glass" and the PentaStar etching on the rear glass...... I singled you out, figured you might know something

I just looked at four of my cars that I'm 99% sure the rear glass is original factory installed on the car, none of them have any markings.

I'll paint the bottoms black; no one will know except you and me........ vent windows and frames are a go!

They make repo vent windows. A little expensive. I think other places sell individual parts.

I just checked the Demonstrator. I know for sure the car has all original glass except for the windshield, and the driver's side quarter window. No date code on the rear glass. All the other pieces are coded for two months prior to the scheduled build date.

That said, my 66.. 69.. 69.. 70 every piece of glass is etched w/ date code, etc. Pretty sure the 67 is all tagged as well, have never looked at the 64.

I stand corrected. This is where it’s located on my car as well. But I had to crawl in the back seat, and get the lighting just right to spot it.

I'll have to go back and check mine, learn something new everyday
