Good to hear. Interestingly enough, i cant see any of that on their website (katool) or in their pix, or pix of the units. They do look good tho.Been researching for months….. am only interested in ALI certified. No plans “to save a buck”
They never made sense to me….Some companies call models a stacker & recommend they are not used for working under ,Storage only
A "stacker" would most likely have a single deck, so you don't need drip pans everywhere to protect your daily driver underneath.Does it mean if you work on your car parked on a “stacker” it will fall on you? LOL
That’s the one I chose. It will be here in a couple of weeks. I was initially looking at the backyard Buddy, but ended up with the lift super store. Because it had steel drip trays with drain plugs versus plastic, the rails were reinforced in the center to prevent sagging, the motor was made in America vs China, and it came with a jack tray.I have a 9000 lb lift from The Lift Super Store and it preforms like new, had it since I moved in 7 yrs ago....
I didn’t get this one because the drip trays were plastic, it didn’t come with a jack tray, the motor was made in China, and the rails weren’t reinforced.I got a backyard buddy. The sliders wrap around the full square post, not traveling in a slotted post.
So no chance of a travelling wheeled carrage pulling out with a side load.
We could have an earthquake any day.
I'll tell you how it did.
