4 Post Lift Installation Recommendations

Like that winch idea. One thing, is your lift bolted down or do you have to tie it to the building to use the winch. Mine isn't bolted down so I would have to tie the lift to the building. Maybe I just need to mount the winch to the building.

My 4-post is just sitting on the floor with a similar winch. It pulls cars up without moving at all, and that's up a small incline.

As long as the car is a roller, then the lift won't move if it's not anchored. I wouldn't recommend trying to drag a non rolling car up on the lift.
