Considering a 4 post and found these within budget…. wondered if anyone out there has either?

Look into this very carefully!! Lifts should be certified. Some manufacturers will try to slide by stating that their power units are certified, which means they are electrically safe (due to the motor). This is useless in the overall scheme. My lift is a Bend-Pak..... i only know now that I have one that it is what i would consider a bare minimum.... I am saying these things can break, can fail even tho they have redundant safeties, and are generally dangerous to work with, especially when a careless or untrained person is using them. Not the place to try and save a buck. Dont kill your son under a cheap lift.

Been researching for months….. am only interested in ALI certified. No plans “to save a buck”

Good to hear. Interestingly enough, i cant see any of that on their website (katool) or in their pix, or pix of the units. They do look good tho.

I’ve emailed both companies with the questions

I went with this company. Will be here in 2 weeks. ALI certified. American made motor, not Chinese. Steel drip trays not plastic, with drain plugs. Reinforced rails to prevent sagging. Jack tray included.
