I am looking for a stock 4 barrel intake to replace the 2 barrel intake on our 67 Belvedere with a 318 to be topped with a modern aftermarket 4 barrel carb. I am wanting to keep everything looking stock(ish) so I would prefer a stock intake. The rebuilt 2 barrel I have now has sat enough since the rebuild it is leaking and I would like to add a bit more growl that the 4 barrel will give it.

Thanks!

I have a later 273 commando factory 4 bbl. It may be a 67 vintage I would have to check. It's currently bolted to a 273 from a 1967 Barracuda. I'm in Illinois. Do you have the carb you intend to use?

I have not landed on a specific carb yet. I am wanting to get something with electric choke for ease of operation since we intend to use the car from early sprig to late fall.

I may have that as well that will fit my cast original intake. Is this an automatic transmission car you need it for? I'm selling a 40-year part collection. The intake and engine is in my garage handy for pictures. The carb is in there somewhere as well. I have a lot of stuff.

When you can please let me know what you find and shoot some pictures over to me.

Yes sir no problem. Just an FYI as it looks like you are a newer member. Only gold members can post pictures in a PM. If you would like click on the envelope in the upper right-hand corner of your page. click on start conversation. put me in as member and put your cell number in this private mail. I will send you pictures. I do need to know if your car is an automatic. The carb will be different. I think I have both auto and 4 gear carbs. I sent you a PM. you just need to respond by clicking on the envelope with the red number on it. Upper right hand corner.

I replied to your PM.

As I stated there - The transmission on the car is a 3 speed automatic. The car is new to us and I am just trying to get it set up as reliably as I can so that we can get some miles put on it to figure out exactly where we ultimately want to go with it. In the end this might be where we stop but driveability and reliability are my top priorities.
